Randwick will host the last day of the Sydney autumn carnival on Saturday where the Group 1 Champagne Stakes and Group 1 All Aged Stakes headline the ten-race card.
The track is rated a Heavy 9 on race morning with the rail out 7m.

We will look to land the money nice and early in the day with the Chris Waller-trained Pierro colt. He was great finishing sixth in the Group 1 Doncaster Mile last start and looks primed to step up to 2000m. He has found himself racing in top company all throughout the campaign and has his hoof on the till for another win. Expect Nash to drop him out the back and power over the top.

Race 6 #11 Cadre Du Noir ($23)
There is plenty of intent today from the stable as Cadre Du Noir tackles the Group 2 JRA Plate on Saturday. After missing the start first-up in the Canberra Mile, Cadre Du Noir went through the line untested in the Group 3 Sellwood Stakes last start, failing to find any clear running. Ciaron Maher and David Eustace have opted to reapply the blinkers and have turned to Brenton Avdulla, who rode the six-year-old when winning the Listed Tatts Cup by five-lengths. He ploughs through heavy ground and will be awfully hard to catch.
