Five Group 1’s at Rosehill headlines a massive day of racing this Saturday, featured of course by the $5 million Golden Slipper.
Cylinder is the $4 favourite for the Golden Slipper as Godolphin look to record another win in the race after Kiamichi ploughed through a bottomless Rosehill track in 2019.
Conditions are forecast to be completely different this year with a hard and fast track predicted.
Anamoe headlines the George Ryder Stakes as the Godolphin stallion shoots for his ninth Group 1 triumph.
Melbourne also hosts a feature race meeting at The Valley with the fifth running of the $5 million All Star Mile.

Race 3 #5 SUMMERBEEL.
Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott boast the All-Star Mile favourite Alligator Blood and will look to get their day off to a good start in race three. Savabeel mare Summerbeel rose above the mile for the first time last month when winning over 2040m at The Valley.
The four-year-old sat on speed that day and carried 60kg to win comfortably. She maps to enjoy a similar run-in-transit on speed from barrier seven and will be extremely hard to beat with Blake Shinn aboard.

Race 9 #2 AMENABLE.
The Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr-trained Amenable looks to be screaming out for a trip this preparation and he gets that on Saturday. The Lonhro colt has produced multiple eye-catching finishes in Group company, the latest being beaten 1.5-lengths by star kiwi filly Legarto in the Group 1 Australian Guineas.
Amenable started $17 in the Australian Guineas, much shorter than Bank Maur ($31) and Japanese Emperor ($101), and had to overcome interference from a fall in the straight. Damien Oliver has done all the work aboard this horse and maps for a perfect run from barrier two.

Race 1 #13 ARTIE’S AURA
Love the return of Artie’s Aura in the inferior ground at Kembla Grange last start and she maps perfectly at Rosehill on Saturday. The five-year-old mare has contested some strong races in her career and drops in weight to 52kg after carrying 54kg last start.
Artie’s Aura trialled strongly leading into this campaign and was great first-up at Kembla Grange, finishing on the heels of the talented Essonne in the $150,000 Midway Championship Qualifier. She maps to land behind the speed on the fence and will be extremely hard to beat second-up.
Best Bet.
Race 4 #5 PERICLES
Godolphin have a strong hand at Rosehill on Saturday and Pericles looks well placed to begin the day for the blue army. The son of Street Boss bolted in at Sandown last start and looks primed to strike Group 1 success in the Rosehill Guineas on Saturday.
He was heavily backed for the Group 2 Vase Stakes at The Valley on Cox Plate Day and ran superbly. Pericles maps perfectly, gets James McDonald and has the turn-of-foot to win.
